AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies to Sponsor Medicaid Health Plans of America 2009 Annual Meeting
Philadelphia, PA – Daniel J. Hilferty, President and CEO of AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies, will present the opening remarks for the 2009 Medicaid Health Plans of America (MHPA) Annual Meeting on Monday, November 16th at 8:00 a.m. Hilferty is also Chair of the MHPA Board of Directors. This event will take place from November 16-17, at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, D.C. The theme for this year's meeting is "Advancing Health Reform through Medicaid Innovation."
Ruth Atkins, Executive Director, Passport Health Plan (an affiliate of AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies), will co-present Using a Collaborative Platform to Fuel an Effective Physician Quality Recognition Program on Monday, November 16th, at 11:00 a.m. That afternoon at 3:15p.m., Mesfin Tegenu, President, PerformRx (an affiliate of AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies), will be presenting Benchmarking Generic Utilization in a Medicaid Environment – Issues and Solutions.
